I had the privilege of presenting to the 4th graders at Orenda Elementary School in Clifton Park, New York. The students were truly captivated by the lecture and learned some interesting facts about the Americans with Disabilities Act. I always look forward to hearing the stories the students so eagerly want to describe. I also love the questions. One interesting question from a student had to do with color. Why are the handicapped parking symbols blue? Wonderful question, Each participant received a special blue pencil. This was a valuable lesson for the students the day before the start of their Winter Recess break.
