It was a heart filled day at the telethon.  What a great place to be on my birthday.  The people affiliated with the Center are the best.  My book was truly accepted, and I was inspired by all the positive energy.  Glad to donate to this event!

It was a great day to celebrate diversity.  Many “smart” Shen students stopped by by booth.  They enjoyed learning about my book and how the ADA has helped many.

I love 3rd grade!  We had a fun time in June.  The students liked trying to identify money with their eyes closed.  They understood the message that we need paper money with texture so we can identify various bills.  Another development we will have in the future courtesy of the ADA!

July 4th in the Town of Clifton Park was wonderful.  Many folks stopped by my booth.  It was sunny, hot and humid as could be.  Many children and parents enjoyed picking up the book for fun summer reading!  

A great week spent the last week of February with grades 1, 2 and 3.  Students learned how the USA is better off today since we have the ADA!  It was great to meet all 15 classes and have a great dialogue.  My favorite question was, “Why can’t a cat be a service animal?”  I…

Wow!  What a wonderful occasion it was on January 31st.  The tone at this event was so positive.  It was my pleasure to donate 50% of the book sale proceeds to this worthy organization.  May these individuals have a better tomorrow!

Thank you to the Greek School at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church.  In December I enjoyed the holiday sale to benefit the Greek School.  Proceeds from my book sales supported their Greek School Program!  EFHARISTO

I attended a wonderful educational event at the NYS Reading Association’s annual conference, “Diverse Learners, Diverse Literacies” today in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Thank you Girl Scout Troop 2494 and Rebecca Oechsner. It was great meeting you and discussing the Americans with Disabilities Act. You had many thoughtful questions, and I hope you enjoyed my presentation as I did.

Thank you to Cynthia LaBarge, Executive Director of the Hadley-Luzerne Public Library. The campers were terrific and asked wonderful questions. I thoroughly enjoyed being with the group today.

I big thank you to the Albany Chapter of the Order of the AHEPA. Especially Albany Chapter President Nick Panayotou. They invited me to attend the District 6 Conference this weekend at the Holiday Inn Turf on Wolf Road.  Ευχαριστώ

Thank you to the staff of the Clifton Park – Halfmoon Public Library for the opportunity to attend the Special Needs Resource Fair. I met many wonderful patrons and other presenters.
